Interesting, I've never seen different dairy products associated with
alternative names for the WR. Most bars will use half and half (That's what
we call the milk and cream mixture you referred to above), some might use milk
or cream, but those would just be choices of that bar, not something that
would be sold as a different cocktail.

I was unaware of a drink called a Caucasian until the Big Lebowski, I thought
The Dude was the one who coined it. It's quite appropriate since the term
"Caucasian" is derived from the people who lived around the Caucas Mountains
in the southwest corner of the former Soviet Union (I can't recall if they lie
within the borders of Russia itself). A Caucasian is, essentially, a white
Russian.

In the Lebowski film one sees how desperate the Dude is for his drink when he
actually uses powdered non-dairy creamer in place of half and half - I thought
that was pretty disgusting myself.

As for a PC name, I can't be bothered to come up with one. I don't have a
problem with referring to a specific ethnicity. Caucasians exist, Hispanics
exist, it isn't insulting to simply refer to one of these groups, is it? I
found the initial post to be pretty funny, I was hoping that poster was just
being facetious. If someone is actually offended by such a name...they don't
realize how good they've got it: that what outrages them is the name of a
drink and not something much, much worse.
