Hey Ash. I haven't worked as a shot girl, but I have worked as a promotion
"model" at beer parties and clubs. Sounds more like what you are looking for.
I got paid to wear a little skirt and a half shirt and flirt with guys, smile
a lot, look for guys that were standing alone to be sure everyone was having a
good time. I started at 25.00 on hour, and depending on the party have made up
to 80.00 an hour. They pay pretty well since it is only a few hours here and
there. I actually responded to an ad in the paper that was looking for fitness
models for events and promotions. I would guess that a college would be good,
but once you find a few girls, they usually know friends or can recommend
other girls. The adult entertainment industry (ie, local strip club) might
have some girls looking for extra work also. I didn't audition. I brought a
resume and went through an interview. I guess if she's cute and friendly and
makes a good impression then you just go with your gut feeling.
Hope this helps!
