All the ingredients are shaken together. Including the lemon wedges. The drink 
sells extremely well and we did test the drink on our numerous cocktail 
bartender friends before adding it to the menu. The cherry ingredients do not 
clash or overpower the drink.

I do know the origins of the Lynchburg cocktail, and that Jim Beam is not made 
there. However, we decided to keep the name so that customers would recognise 
the drink as a derivative of the original Lynchburg recipe.
