Subject: Lying on a resume.

I need some advice. I am a college student in Chicago looking for a bartending
gig in the city(just moved here for college). It turns out that a bartending
gig is harder to come by in Chicago than I thought. I dont have much
experience and I am considering lying on my resume to get the a job as it
seems that my lack of experience is keeping me from the jobs I want. My
question is this... If I have all the technical stuff pretty much under
control (mixing technique, glassware, drink recipes) how are they gonna know
that I lied? What other things should I be prepared for that will give me
away? I am confident so I am not worried about acting like a fool, I will pick
up on the houses most common drinks quickly, and I am a very hard, fast
worker... I just want to know what small stuff is gonna give me away? Ive
never run a register. Will they train me there? Im just looking for some
inside pointers as to what is gonna make or break me if I lie. Thanks.

Jeff
