John

The reason I was shaking my head was two-fold.

Firstly, posts which start with, I wanna get my [insert
relative/friend/potential gf/bf here] drunk without them knowing is nearly
always a false story - which is why there have been so many negative replies.

however, let me clear up the technical side for you. Alcohol is alcohol.
When you drink it you get dehydrated, which is why when you are drinking you
need still feel the need to drink. You will get drunk nomatter what you drink
if you drink enough and when it hits you will know it, so all these Red Devils
etc will be the same as if you had vodka and coke, with the difference being
that because there is so much liqueurs in them as oppose to liqour, you are
less likely to taste the alcohol, which will make the drink more palettable.

Generally, once you had a certain amount of alcoholic content, you will be as
drunk as if you had a different number of drinks which then equals the same
amount of alcohol.

therefore, if pretences are aside, get a taxi and you both neck 12 shots of
tequila. Don't try and hide it because that's tame - why would you need to -
if she thinks she can handle drinks - why do you need to hide it?

If you go for the crap that has been suggested (no offence guys - you know
better) you'll end up buying nine drinks for the same alcoholic content as 5.
I don't expect the pub to be great on making cocktails of any nature anyway,
so you're 1/2 of this and that plus that is likely to cost $20.

The second point was - although this forum is about drinking, it is
predominently created around the experience of drinking, making great tasting
drinks, increasing the bar experience and customer interaction through great
customer service and bar design/activities. Also about learning about liqour.
Not getting people drunk really quickly.

As i say to any customer who says - "which one has the most amount of alcohol
in?" - "if you want to get drunk, why don't you just go to WalMart/Tescos and
buy a bottle of vodka and sit at home you cheap git" (well not in so many
words).

drinks like - 1 shot vodka, 1 shot chambord, 1 shot chartreuse, 1 shot shot
blue caracao, 2 shots granadine in a pint glass then top off with sprite "it
goes purple and tastes so great man and gets you wasted in like three drinks."
is not what this forum is about.

perfecting a martini - reinventing the old fashioned - experimenting on a
margarita - muddling berries into a caiprinha and mixing a mean manhattan
better describes what we do with drinks here. If you wanna get drunk, you can
end up necking some of these, but I assure you that if you sip them, you'll
even every drop.

Hope this helps

Darren
