This is along the lines of how I hope to raise my own children in regards to
alcohol. So many underage drinkers today go at it with no understanding of
what they're getting into, no respect for alcohol as an intoxicant and as a
drug. So much "rebellion" in underage drinking because it's been held out as
taboo until you're 21. I hope to instill a responsibility in regards to
alcohol with my children, from moderate intake to not drinking and driving to
enjoying alcohol as leisure rather than diversion.

That said, if you're looking for a drink that goes down easy and also gets one
"drunk" the above-noted drink sounds like a reasonable suggestion. Might I
also suggest having it with a mild, non-greasy meal and having your step
daughter stand up (go to the ladies room, etc) a couple of times during the
meal? :) How many times have you heard of someone falling over when they first
stand up because it didn't hit them until that point?

I hope your quest for an education goes well.
