Was wandering around the web disorientated when I stumbled upon this forum.
Very interesting reading.

Am just curious as to the age of your stepdaughter, and whether or not she has
drunk often before. I know that I was 14 when I first got drunk, I was with my
dad, my big sister and her boyfriend for a work function for my dad. He was
mingling so my sister and her boyfriend were slipping me beers behind his
back. Once he realised he also bought me alcohol as well. I feel comforted
knowing that I was in the company of people I know and trust for my first
experience with alcohol so that the situation would never get out of control.

I know that there may be a lot of people out there who might find this
outrageous, but first a few facts. Being 14 and never having drank before
(besides a few sips of beer or port for curiosity sake) it only took 3 beers
to get me drunk, also please know that I am not now nor have i ever been an
alcoholic in fact the last drink I had was months ago, so my father allowing
me to drink didn't damage me but it let me know safely what the effects of
alcohol can be.

While I don't know if allowing your stepdaughter to get completely hammered is
the brightest idea, I feel that exposing young adults to adult environments
can help save them from doing dangerous life risking stunts when they are old
enough and convinced of their own immortality as an older teenagers.

I would be interested in knowing how your experiment goes.

And by the by, a long island iced tea is probably the strongest thing I have
ever had. Many find it to be an aquired taste, but I have always enjoyed it.
