also acknowledging customers as soon as they get to the bar, and if you cant 
take their order straight away, then just ensure them you know they're there 
and what order people will be served in.

i like to multi serve alot though, if you dont feel able to do this, take a 
couple of orders while you make one, then make the next, obviously if one 
person only wants a bottle of beer then you can do this straight away for him 
it takes 4 seconds etc, one more happy customer.
