Couple of quick things...

For one, it's Rum and Tequila, not Vodka and Tequila.  Fillup pointed it out 
but it might not have stood out clearly.  Note that it's Bacardi's product, 
which begs the question, why is the rum in there not very good?

I've found that people who respond in 'that' way usually don't know themselves 
how to describe it, they simply did a shot and thought it tasted strong of 
alcohol.

Little history on this stuff...It was launched at a lot of very trendy places 
and it was being positioned as the next great movement in liquor (the idea of 
combining unique spirits).  If you do a little hunting you can tell that they 
blew a LOT of money on promotional events (including hiring some of the worlds 
best flair bartenders to do the Vegas and Miami events).  In fact, if you dig 
hard enough, you'll see a ton of pictures of Rene Garcia of Carnaval Court 
flairing at an event here in Vegas for the early release...

Here's the gotcha...the stuff hardly sells in the states in comparison to most 
products (I heard it was selling heavily on islands and one of the european 
countries, I forget which).  Truthfully, the stuff is kinda low quality for 
the price IMHO.  In my experience, the stuff is best mixed in fruity drinks.  
In other words, look for any fruity drink that uses either rum or tequila and 
figure it's a decent chance of working.  Notice that most of the recipes Phade 
posted are basically fruity drinks that were alerady easy replacements.  The 
whole point of a lot of fruity drinks is to overpower the taste of the alcohol.

You almost say this as if you had trouble moving Tuaca? :)  Our place was 
selling this stuff about as fast as we moved any call brand (besides JD).  
Mixed or in shots, Tuaca sold like crazy.
