In my opinion,  there should be ONE list of 20 or so drinks (and I think this 
was Cheryl's original intention) that no matter what venue you work in... you 
should know.  And if you dont know these 20 drinks and you use the word 
"bartender" to describe yourself then you are only kidding yourself.  And this 
should be known as THE LIST.

Even if bartenders in nightclubs rarely if ever make margaritas, they sure as 
hell better know how to make one.

>>Funny side story... Its better now but when the Coyote Ugly first opened in 
New Orleans some of us went there one night when we got off work early and I 
ordered a margarita and the poor girl just kinda looked at the liquor bottles 
in her well with a confused look on her face and she reached for a brandy 
bottle... so i taught her how to make a margarita as a customer...  funny 
stuff... she sure was pretty though...

So not to make things more complicated..... but heres the way I look at this 
whole list thing...  In an ideal world...

Everyone should know this original 20 list... and then there would be 
supplementary lists such as the Nightclub list or the Shot list or the Beach 
bar list ...not that I have the time to make these lists, I'm just sayin... ;-)

Ok I have to go pack now... My flight to Mickey Mouse land takes off in about 
12 hours...  Here we come Cheryl!!
