Ok, my last two gigs behind the bar lasted about a week 
(between both of them), long story, but I've moved
on, and I am getting a chance at another high volume
gig, I have a feeling it's more of a 'tryout' than
an official position, so to make the most of it, I
feel I have to be lightning fast, the owner even
said he may 'throw me into the deep end' right away.
I would prefer to learn their register, where things
are, etc. first, but I guess I have to learn it
all on the fly.  Speed, speed, speed. All while
smiling, since I admit when I am very busy, I
may be focused and have that stern, serious look
on my face that implies nervousness, but really
is just the way I look.

So my question is, any tricks that could increase
my efficiency, so the owner can't say I wasn't
fast enough getting the drinks out? How do you all
handle high volume/multitasking? Again, the longer
you are at a particular job, the more 2nd nature
it becomes, but from my recent experiences, it's
apparent owners want near-perfection immediately,
no training given to the new guy.

So, how do I do it 'all', and do it all faster?
