I waitress and bartend sometimes at the same time.  I would never pool tips.  
I even feel sorry for some bartenders who have to during the winter when we 
have two bartenders on.  Because I know some bartenders/waitresses that are 
very rude and lazy.  They don't do their job, they do the minumum that they 
have to.  Why should I give that person some of my tips.  But I do give a % to 
the dishwasher if I have one.
