 I totally agree. There seems to be a trend now (at least here in UK) for 
developing cocktails containing a branded plain vodka AND the same branded 
flavoured vodka. (Usually sponsored or in competition.) To me that's basically 
saying that the flavoured vodka does not have the required vodka "bite", and 
you may as well stick to the plain vodka with a liqueur/sirop for the required 
flavour.
