I am a barback at a large convention center where concerts and special events 
are held.  I just want to say that I think I'm getting the shaft by our 
bartenders.  I am the lead barback at my place and VERY RARELY will the 
bartenders tip us out ANYTHING.  I bust my ass for these people, often 
cleaning up their bars after they leave because for some reason, the head 
honcho seemed to have hired the laziest 'tenders in the area.  They bitch and 
moan about EVERYTHING and if a bar tool is in a different location than it was 
on the last event, then they automatically assume they don't have it.  
However, this doesn't effect my effort in making sure everything is full, 
stocked, and organized.  Still, even when the bartenders have a great night 
and walk with 250-300 bones, I am VERY lucky to recieve 20 dollars total.  
WHAT THE HELL?  I happen to know for a fact that it's not my performance that 
is lacking--I was made Lead Barback for a reason.  can someone enlighten me on 
why 'tenders can be so selfish?
