In my opinion, a perfect bar-back is a person who gets on with their job and 
ensures that the bar is stocked and ready to go.  This could be bringing 
bottles from the store, changing kegs, getting glasses, chopping lemons, 
wiping down the bar or helping to prepare drinks and tidying up.

In my opinion, there's so much you could do, but this will become apparent as 
you go along.  The best thing for you to bear in mind is to keep a good 
attitude, be willing to help, and smile, cos you're on stage!  One pointer, 
don't be too nice, because no-one likes a suck up and this certainly will 
induce the tenders to step all over you and it will be harder to make that 
transition into a tender.
