Bellini was created in 1948 by Arrigo Cipriani of "Harry's Bar" in Venice. The 
original recipe is very simple :
1oz of fresh white peach puree and 4 oz "prosecco" (Italian sparkling wine), 
prosecco can be sobstituted with any sparkling wine or champagne. As you see 
in the original recipe there is no trace of peach schnapps. Cheers
