Hey,

Just thought I would post my two cents as well.. we actually practice this 
method at my club. Commonly known as the "Hot Shot Method" at least on the 
western side of the states, once one grows into using it, there isn't a time 
issue. We have timed it in comparision to a straight pour without any 
noticable delay. 
I am sure people can find pros and cons about anything, however even the 
customers who know the "secret" that they are not getting special treatment or 
extra liquer still find it as an extra nice touch to their drink.
