in the UK you dont really bug the managers, once i went in to a place, got an 
interview, got offrered a job, then heard nothing from them for a week, went 
in again, the manager apologised, asked for my number to have in his phone, 
then i waited another half a week and he still didnt ring, next time i went in 
i managed to talk to a different manager though, and ended up working that 
night.
