Whiles looking through the cocktails section of the Appletons site, it struck
me that most of the cocktail creations were nothing more than re-hashes of
classic drinks. Whiles this should not be a suprise to the seasoned veterans
here on webtender, I wonder what the newbies think.
The cocktails on the site can be deduced to the following classic cocktails:
Mai Tai
Zombie
Rum Punch
Moscow Mule
Fresh Fruit Martini
Caipirinha
Fruit/ Berry Caipirinha
Daiquiri
Fruit Daiquiri (straight up, or frozen)
Mojito
Fruit Mojito
Russian Spring Punch (similar to French '75)
French '75
Learn the above classic styled cocktails, so that the next time the sale rep
comes around you can just work your way through this list, substituting
ingredients here and there and viola!!! you too are a cocktail creating genius.
So start winning prizes, and calling yourself the best bartender in... [insert
name of city]. And all because you have suckered the sales rep into thinking
it is a new cocktail creation.
Cheers!
George
