They were secretive about it most likely because it is a proprietary drink to 
that establishment (i.e., no other bar/restaurant makes that drink). If the 
drink was created at that restaurant, then only the bartenders at that 
restaurant would know how to make it. After all, if they are the only ones 
that make it, then there is no competition for them for that specific drink, 
and their customers will have to come back to them for that drink.

At best, you may be able to con a server or a bartender into telling you what 
ingredients are in it, but they are unlikely to give you any proportions. Or, 
if you are able to watch the bartender make the drink, you can make note of 
what they used to make it. I've gotten many (proprietary) drink recipes simply 
by watching bartenders making drinks and observing what ingredients they use.

If you can manage to get the ingredients, one of us may be able to develop a 
recipe for it.
