Over in the UK vodka Redbull is a big big thing, The place I work does promo's 
on it. Anyway the best way to drink it is with a berry flavoured vodka, my 
personal favorites are Stoli Rasberry or Absolut Kurrant (blackberry), add a 
slice of lime and away you go (REALLY worth trying). On the safety thing, I'm 
not sure there is any real problem but I personally wouldn't drink more than a 
couple after seeing the state of some of my customers....
