Explaining to customers that you can't get them a drink.
Getting the manager to open the liquor storeroom because something ran out.
Getting hit in the forehead by the cash drawer.
Explaining to customers that you REALLY REALLY aren't able to serve them.
Balancing unreasonable numbers of glasses while pushing past customers hanging 
out at the gate.
Delivering messages.
Getting wet feet.
Pouring the customer a beer to make them go away, then chasing someone to ring 
it up for you.

... hopefully learning something so you can move up soon.
