I might not know a lot of drinks, but here's something I'm good at..handling a 
packed bar.  People are more content to wait if you acknowledge that you see 
them and a simple head nod and eye contact will do wonders. People become more 
impatient if they think you don't see them.  They are even happier once you 
take their order.  I will take several drink orders at a time, make them all 
(they don't mind waiting knowing your making THEIR drink) then bring them all 
their drinks and now do the most time consuming part, collect money from each 
one and ring them up seperately, or all together and do the math.  This takes 
time and a sharp memory to get good at.  Start out with 2 or 3 orders first 
and go from there.  You will notice this also helps with the "who was next?" 
problem.  You turn around from the register and have 4 new people standing at 
the bar, watch their faces as you ask each one what they would like.  I 
promise they will be a lot happier than if you were to play the "WHO'S NEXT?"
