Are flyers and PR staff becoming obsolete? Now more than ever bars, clubs and 
venues are using Facebook and other social media sites to promote their 
business.

Has the way we advertise evolved? Is this going to be the future of how our 
“small” businesses attract customers? And do you think advancement of 
technology such increased smartphone use will aid marketing to local customers 
or will it be drowned out in the sea of social media? 

I put it to the members of this forum to discuss their most effecting way to 
get patrons in the door and what will be the future of attracting local and 
visiting customers.
