the one on the Cherry Heering website is best. I make up the spirits in an old
cherry heering bottle (1/2 gin, 1/4 cherry heering, 1/8 DOM benedictine, 1/8
Cointreau) and use a 15mL (1/2oz) nip pourer. 45mL (1 1/2oz gives you the same
alcohol content as 30ml (1oz) of the gin you used, but 60mL of the mix (2 oz)
is required to make the drink for grown ups. If you're doing a lot of them,
make up the split (pineapple juice, lime juice, grenadine, bitters) in a big
jug and chill. combine the two parts in a ratio of 1:2-3, shake over ice and
serve. Now a heresy: for a drink you can nurse on a really hot 'singapore'
day, serve on the rocks in a zomie glass and top up with more of the split, or
club soda.
Be judicious with the grenadine at first, the pineapple juice is already
really sweet.
