What inevitable court case?  This is the result of years of court battles that 
have finally been decided, particularly a recent decision by the US Patent and 
Trademark office that basically ruled that the Pernod Ricard backed Cuban 
product lost their trademark.  Now whether this starts a war between 
Pernod/Ricard and Bacardi, remains to be seen.
The rum itself is pretty tasty.  It's on the drier, boozier side of the 
spectrum with a pleasant vanillin stripe running through it.
