A WAP version of The Webtender has been launced. The purpose is to give
access to The Webtender database of drink recipes from wireless devices
that support WAP.
WAP, or Wireless Application Protocol, is a lightweight Internet protocol,
enabling people with WAP-enabled devices such as the new generation of 
mobile phones and personal organizers to access specially designed web 
pages and services.  Although WAP has not become widely available, this
will probably change in the next 6 months as cellular phones with built
in WAP browsers become more common.
Currently, only some features of the regular version of The Webtender is
available through WAP. These are:
 * Simple searches by drink name
 * Random recipe
 * Top 10 recipes
However, new and more advanced features are planned.
The code name of this new service is "The WAPtender" (what else 
could it be?)
