I would like to wish everyone using The Webtender, especially the regulars in 
the forums, a very happy new year!

In 2005 The Webtender passed 10 years on the web (it started back in 1995) and 
is still going strong. It looks like 2005 will be the best year measured in 
number of people visiting ever, and I expect the record for the number of 
visitors in one day to fall on new year's eve.

For the forums this year has been a good one as well. More than 13,000 
messages were posted here, an increase of over 50 percent compared to 2004. 
Very soon we should see message number 50,000 in the forums as well!

It's good to see that the site is still thriving, even if I haven't had a lot 
of time to care for it in the last years. I hope to be able to make a bit more 
changes in 2006 and be able to enter 2007 with a site that is a bit more up to 
date. As always, please tell me if there are things you would like seen done 
to the site. This is after all a user driven site :)

Note that the number of guests visiting The Webtender on New Year's Eve 
is extremely high, so it may be a bit slow during peak hours.
