I have added some "magic" to the forum system to convert links posted to
other messages into the subject from that message for a better user experience.

So if I paste the URL for an old message below, the URL will be
transformed into:

 [The Webtender] 100 million served!

instead of

 _ttp://www.webtender.com/iforum/message.cgi?id=27166&show=new&sort=date

(the last link is invalid because I had to mangle it slightly to get around 
the magic).
