Pa,
we just recently discussed the best recipes for sour mix.  I have made it w/ 
12 oz lemon juice, a cup of sugar, and egg white, and enough water to balance 
it out to a quart.  To me, it tastes a lot like lemonade, and i usually tell 
my friends to buy that when they want it and i'm to lazy to make sour mix.  
However, other recipes posted here included lime juice, and no egg white.
