Welcome to the new release of The Webtender, now at a
new server located in USA.

This version was released at 18:00 GMT Wednesday 7. May 1997.

The major improvement can be found in The Forum and The Index.

The Forum has been re-written with support for multiple groups, and
using a database engine as a message back-end, which will allow
an almost infinite number of messages. A Java(tm) chat applet
from Chatplanet has also been installed, allowing on-line, realtime
chat.

The Index is a new creation. A Yahoo!-like index of drinking related
web-sites.

The Webtender has also moved to a server in USA improving response time
for the users there, but without making it a complete nightmare for
Europeian users.
