this depends some on where you are and the crowd you deal with.If you are a
packed service bar making over a thousand drinks in a shift you don't always
take the time to properly shake or stir a drink, squeeze free lemons or limes
every drink, you are usinng premadesour mix and chances are most people won't
notice anyway.if you are in a place where you don't have to make a drink every
sixty seconds you can take the time to shake a drink for 20 seconds

you say grab the glass it should be grab the glasses if you are takeing one
drink making it and then moving to the next you save time by getting six-ten
orders in you mind as many you can handle setting the glasses close to gather
on the mat ,filling them with ice the pour you liquors make a continual pour
of the vokdas, then the rum ect.work you ways through liquors in the order that
is most convient to the speed well you have,if you don't have a speed rack for
you calls and have to walk to the shelf for call brand leave the bottel near
the work station and don't put back on the shelf as you will just have to walk
tfoor it fo the next round. after you pour the liquor, the pour you mixes all
the coke, all the oj, ect. this way you can make the drinks an only have to
pick a bottle up once to make several drinks

bummer

you don't need to keep the sodas in the cooler they don't go bad if they are
kept warm and you are going to pour them over ice any way and you won't have
to reach around the juices

start at one end of the bar walking toward the station taking orders as you go
make the drinks trun around going back down the bar delivering drinks

hope this help. one phrase that speeds things up if management doesn't fire
you for it is "I'm sorry but the blender is broken"  :}

hope this helps
