A snifter is used for a serving of Brandy/Cognac/Armanac or a liqueur with a base of Brandy/Cognac/Armanac, such as Gran Marnier. It is 2 oz of the requested spirit, served in an 8 oz snifter. A double would be 4 oz, served in a 16 oz snifter. What are you putting in a 22 oz snifter and is there such a thing as a 12 oz snifter?
