I barbacked at 2 TGI Friday's for a while (if that counts as a cocktail bar -
they're much better here in the uk than in the US lol) and what the previous
person said is pretty much true - basically anything not involving serving
drinks.
Filling juice bottles (need to know juice bottle colour coding)
Restocking beer fridges
Replacing spirit/wine bottles (helps to know a bit about spirits and their
frequency of use)
Cleaning stuff
Getting coffee for bartenders
Changing beer barrels/gas
Changing soda syrup/gas
Racking/cleaning glassware (need to know the names)
Getting in the way
Replacing Ice
Replacing consumables (napkins, straws etc)
I'd say that was in descending order what I spent most my time doing.
