Subject: Chambord discovered in closet - questionable usability?
From: JJFoshay

Hi there,

I just discovered a bottle of Chambord in my parents closet left over from
some Christmas grab bag years ago. Since they don't actually drink (hence the
forgotten liquor in the closet) they say I can have it, but I'm wondering if
it's okay to use given its age and condition.

For one thing, around the neck is this weird little keychain deal that says
"Chambord Millenium", which makes me think this bottle may be from 2000.
Additionally, holding the agitated bottle up to the light reveals a ton of
little floaty bits (like silt) suspended in the liquid, apparently originating
from a residue on the bottom-inside surface of the glass.

I probably won't open the bottle until I get back to school, but is there a
judgment based on the above observations that might allow me to save the time?
Let me know if this stuff is still good for anything.

Cheers!
