Ingredients:

• 1 tsp Sugar syrup
• Juice of 1/2 Lemon
• 1 splash Ginger ale or club soda
• 1 1/2 oz Bourbon (Makers Mark)

Mixing instructions:

Stir with ice and add more ginger ale (or club soda) to taste. Stir well.

Creator/contributor's comments:

I accidentally "discovered" this drink one summer when we were mixing Mint Juleps and we had a whole bunch of sugar syrup and bourbon, but ran out of mint. It's tangy and sweet, but you can modify the sweetnes by substituting club soda for ginger ale. Both add a nice bubbly character.
