Liquors (rum, tequila, whiskey, brandy etc. which are your base liquors) do
not go bad for hundreds of years and remain strong for many years even after
they have been opened. However, liqueurs can go bad, even if they have never
been opened, expecially, if they have dairy products in them.

An example would be Bailey's Irish Cream, Creme de Menthe, Creme de Banane,
Dark/white Creme de cacao etc.

My uncle had a bottle of Baileys Irish Creme he hadn't opened in 8 to 10
years. When we opened it, it was spoiled.

A bottle of Chambord once opened is recomeneded (stated on the box/bottle) to
be consumed within 6 months.

Wines and Champagnes go bad very quickly after they have been opened.
