I've been a customer at a combination bar and restaurant now for 6 years. It
is a huge place here in Houston, TX. that is frequented by an older crowd.
The owner hires females as bartenders to work behind the bar that don't know
the difference between a bottle of Kahlua and Triple Sec. However all the
employees I find are extremely friendly and helpful, towards customers and
towards each other. Even if one makes a mistake the others are there for
support.
Maybe they fear you for having a lot of experience. But you better find out
what the problem is. I would wait for the opportunity to ask them what the
problem is. If they refuse to talk to you, or give you a good reason why,
then you better talk to your boss. It can only get worse.
