Bartending Schools

I know we've gone over this, but this weekend I've been training a bartender
who has never bartended before, but went to a bartending school. Nice enough
guy, but doesn't know his head from his ass behind the bar. There's just no
substitute for experience. The only thing that a bartending school buys you is
the possibility of getting your foot in the door by having one more
credential than the guy that has nothing.
At least this guy knows that he's clueless and he's very willing to listen and
learn. If he was cocky, I'd have kicked his ass out the first day.
