I think the best way to prepare a "stawberry caipiroska" is to use a fresh
strawberry puree adding a little strawberry syrup and sugar to it(you can
prepare it in advance using a commercial blender), whithout using any
strawberry liqueur at all. Sometimes strawberries are quite tastless,
specially the ones you get out of season, so you have to improve their taste
by adding a little extra sugar and a little strawberry syrup, that's why I
suggest to use puree rather than the plain strawberries, and by doing this you
also get the smoother consistancy. As for the preparation, muddle limes and
sugar, add the puree, fill the glass with CRUSHED ICE, and add your vodka, you
should get a perfect Caipiroska, just like in Rio, (by the way overthere it's
called "Caipiroska de Morango").
Cheers
