I was wondering what kind of

Hey, Tek! I've always used either Digital Dining, or a "boom box". DD is a
computerized program with keyboard - I've been using it for years, and once
you get used to it, you can fly through orders without bothering to look at
either the screen or keyboard, and focus your attention on the more important
things - the customer, and the cash drawer. ;) A boom box is used in a lot of
large clubs to keep their taxes down. It's a simple cash register with as few
as five buttons that simply list prices, or the general drink - "Domestic,
Import, Top-Shelf, Well, Draft".

I am only 20 so I can't really go out and check it out. Another

I think it all depends on your personality. Myself, I enjoy working at either
a fast-paced club with intensely loud music (it sharpens your lip-reading
skills immensely), or a laid-back cigar/martini bar where service is the most
important thing. It all depends on what atmosphere you enjoy and how much
money you desire to make.

Also I was wondering how much do

Tipwise, I average around 125-150 on weekdays, 200+ on weekends. Saleswise,
I've had anywhere from a $80 Tuesday (argh), to a $2000 Saturday. But my tips
really don't depend on my sales - they depend on how friendly, smiley, and
mildly flirty I am on any given night.

Sorry I can't give you any definitive answers, but the truth is that it all
depends; on your personality, willingness to work the crap shifts as well as
the money shifts, your skills behind the bar, and the atmosphere you surround
yourself with. =)
