Hi guys, I'm only just beginning to learn my cocktails (being new to
bartending and all..) and anyways, I've been making a lot of drinks at home to
try them out and get a jist of their various flavours (for my own personal
interest and to assist my customers, of course :) )..
Anyways, one drink I made, Strawberry Caipiroska, I'm a little puzzled over...
The recipe I'm using is:
45 ml Vodka
15 ml Strawberry Liqueur
Tsp Sugar
4 Lime Wedges
4 Strawberries
Muddle Ingredients in Rocks/Tumbler add Vodka Last.
Anyways, I have a few questions about the preperation of this drink,
I've been putting the sugar/liquer/lime/strawberries in the bottom and
muddling ('mashing') them, but the drink when finished always seems to be
sour, where I think it should be sweet, and it also hasnt got a smooth
consistancy, it is lumpy and hard to drink.
Anyways, How do I create a smooth consistancy?
Do I muddle the ingredients in one glass, then strain into another glass, THEN
ADD ICE? or another method?
Anyways, Any input on the method etc would be appreciated. (Including when to
add the ice)
Thanks in advance.

How do I pour? What is 'cl', 'oz' and 'pt'? How should I handle glassware?.
