Subject: Severe foot pain because of bartending? HELP!
From: celestecorral

Hello. I'm sure most of you have experienced this: foot pain and issues with
shoes. This week they made me work overtime at the bar and the ball of my foot
is really messed up now. I don't wear athletic shoes to work, I wear shoes
that are similar to skater shoes - flat thick sole. My feet are very very
arched, so the pressure goes on the heel and the ball of my feet (this is what
they said when i went to get insoles from an orthopedic shoe store). So i wear
insoles that i spent a lot of money on, and I just also bought a cushion pad
for the ball of my foot. What other advice do you guys have? What are the most
comfortable shoes for people with very high arches? What shoes have you had
great experiences with? What's best for bartending? Any advice and suggestions
are welcome and I really appreciate it. Thank you everyone.
