Subject: Double Whammy Bloody Mary Sunday

At a bar I used to go to the head bartender thought it would be a good idea to
have a Bloody Mary Sunday for the early Sunday morning Saturday night drunks
who hung out at the bar. To this end he made up gallons of premixed Bloody
Marys. In each jug there was at least two quarts of Vodka ( Smirnoff), 1 quart
Tomatoes Juice, 1 Lrg.bottle Tobasco,1 Med Bottle Worchestershire, and 8
Lemons juiced. This was shook up and flavor adjusted and more Vodka and
tomatoe juice added to fill jugs. It was then placed in cooler on Saterday
evening to chill. The drinks went well during the day when the head bartender
was working but the night bartender, not the brightest crayon in the box, blew
the whole thing. A couple came in and the girl wanted a Bloody Mary. The
barmaid got the tall Sling Glass and poured the prerequsit shot of Vodka and
then filled it with the premixed drink. The girl loved the drink and ordered a
second one. Again the barmaid poured the shot and filled it with the mix and
the girl again killed it quick and ordered a third. Her date should have known
something was wrong as the girl was now slurring her words. On the third
drink, and extra shot, the girl slipped off her chair into oblivion. After the
barmaids Brother In Law and I helped carry the girl to her dates car, we ask
how the barmaid had made the drinks. When she told us she poured the shots, we
stopped her. I told her," Bonnie, Don already added two and a half quarts of
Vodka to each gallon jug. Didn't he tell you not to add more? She said he
hadn't told her about that and now she knew why the girl got blotto so fast.

How do I pour? What is 'cl', 'oz' and 'pt'? How should I handle glassware?.
