hello and thank you for ur ponderings,
iīll try 2 awsering them all.

first of all i didnīt realised there was a cocktail that was so similar to
mine, still donīt know and iīm hoping u can tell me what it is and where 2
find it.

u can see the final result of my cocktail in my Facebook page searching me by
name Pedro Arantes or e-mail pedroarantes[at]hotmail.com.

iīm an afficionate of Rhum, Tequila and Mezcal and therefore i believe iīve a
pretty good knowledge of textures and flavours that each them have.

u donīt loose any of itīs flavour althought it doesnīt enhabnces it either.
this is meant to be an after-dinner girls drink. it was created on a base of
what girls think of love... the sweet; the aphrodisiac; the mellow; all put
together with the warm embrace of rhum.
Rhum is a warm drink that embraces u and takes u a level up. itīs not like
vodka or gin. itīs sweetness and flavour itīs ideal to make a woman fall in
love.
tried same cocktail with other Rhums like Brugal; Negrita;Barceló; Matusalen
15 Aņos or Legendario among others except Bacardi (wich i donīt see it as a
full body rhum) either Carta Blanca as anejo or extra anejo. Havana was the
one that gave me, for itīs complexity, the best comprimise of flavour and
strengh to handle all the ingredients i wanted to add.
the purpose of add so many passion fruit items was only to enhance all teh
flavour that this aphrodisiac fruit as and balance it with the strengh of the
Havana without overcoming it.
this is a cocktail that as 2 textures. itīs supposed to be tasted through a
spoon, thatīs why and i think u didnīt understood, only the rhum and Passion
fruit items go to the Shaker and then simple strained 2 a cocktail glass
previously rimmed with the dark chocolate sauce. after all of this, u just
simply let a single Mint/chocolate scoop of ice cream fall inside the Glass.
this ice cream as 2 purposes: 1st its a wonderfull flavour created by Carte
DīOr and a very passionate one; 2nd as the passion fruit and rhum becomes
rather sweet it helps to balance all itīs sweetness throughout the cocktail
even if when the ice cream is fully mealt and alters the texture of the
cocktail.

at first zipps u have all the beautifull warm flavours of the rhum with the
sweetness of the passion fruit and the fresh ale of mint while at the end u
have the final explosion of lust mellow flavous.
like i said it was thought for girls; its made for girls and until now all
that have tasted it ( and there are many...) all of them loved it. it was made
thinking about sex and meant for sex. :-p

If u see it clearly, itīs not a quartet of flavours but a threesome: Rhum,
Passion fruit and ice cream and you should try it when u get the chance and
see how it goes. :-)
thank you for your question
