Yep. Girls are ways too emotional and in most cases found to be flaky and
lazy. That's why I always preferred working with men.
The bottomline line is that there not much you can do except be your self,
pull your own weight, don't count up favors, and with time they will see you
are an asset to them when they want a day off and that you aren't taking money
out of their pockets (which is really the deal).
Learn and soak up as much bar knowledge that you can now and if things don't
improve within 3 months then secretly start looking for another gig because
now you'll have experience to put on an ap.
