I wanted to talk a little about this drinking game because it is one of my
favorites and we play it a little differently. It has the same concept with
two rows of cards, one row giving drinks and one row taking drinks. I will
just give you an example of a game. You have six people playing so six cards
in each row, twelve cards total. You lay the cards out in their rows face
down. The first card in each row is two drinks and the second four drinks, the
third six and so on. Everyone is dealt six cards, one for every card in the
row. Once everybody has their cards they take turns picking a card of their
choice from the rows and turning it sideways. This doubles the amount of
drinks given or taken by this card so six cards out of twelve are doubled. The
dealer then begins turning the cards over one by one starting with the first
card in the take side and then the give side. Usually in our games someone
doubles the last card in the take side and in this case it was originally
twelve drinks and now has become twenty-four drinks, unless u have two of the
cards in which case you get to take fourty-eight drinks. Our games usually
ended up crazy like this and we never want to wait on someone to count out
fourty-eight drinks so we considered about twenty drinks to equal one beer, so
with fourty-eight drinks you would chug two beers and take eight out of
another.
