Only not a fan? How do these racial believes of mr. work out in practice?
Important is the idea that racism and racism can be two different things.
In my opinion there exists something as the right to be racist which must be
weight together with and against other rights and duties. Depending on
circumstances I believe it should be well accepted for people to be racist.
Racism is also in pure technical terms a very reasonable and natural believe
system. Even simple lifeforms like plants show signs of racism. It is only our
western society who has the hypocritical view that racism is unwelcome.
However, many aspects (flaws) of western society can be expressed in terms of
racism. For instance "the ability for 5% of the world population to spend 25%
of the total energy resources" is not well earned by those people but instead
a privilege for those who happen to belong to the right country.
What is and what is not defined as racism depends on the way we perceive the
world. Since we wish to be good ourselves and since we define racism as bad we
define racism in such a way that it does not involve ourselves. If only you
would change one of these two things, either looking at ourselves as bad
people or at racism as a good thing, then it becomes clear that we are all
showing characteristic signs of racism. The type of racism used in common
language only refers to the type features of racism which are stigmatized.
This makes the term racism ambiguous allowing it to be used in fallacious
argumentation. One form of racism could be put equal to a stronger form of
racism. Nazism right?
