Hi Eileen.

First and easiest, think of parts.

4 parts vodka (around 8 liters)
2 parts cran (around 4 liters/2 half gallons - dif in product packaging)
2 parts triple sec (4 liters)
1 part blue c (2 liters)
1 part lemon juice (doh!)

Mathwise, the following recommendations work in terms if all parts were
bottled the same.

(US fluid ounces)

750 ml = 26.16 oz
1 liter = 33.8 oz
1 quart = 32 oz
1 half gallon = 64 oz
1 medium lemon = (approx) 3 Tablespoons juice = 1.5 oz

At your proportions in this recipe:

Vodka : bare minimum 7 one liter size bottles or 9 bottles of 750 ml size

33.8/1.33=25.413533 shots per Liter
175/25.41=6.8870523 bottles of 1 liter vodka to purchase

or

26.16/1.33=19.669172 shots per 750 ml size bottle
175/19.67= 8.8967971 bottles of 750 ml size bottles of vodka

I'd stick with liter sized for convenience and remember this is all in perfect
theory without a dropped bottle, someone wanting second refills or an
over/underpour situation. Measure well. ;)

Cranberry : 2 half gallon sized bottles of juice

64/.66=96.969696 splashes of cran per your recipe
175/96.969696=1.8 half gallon size bottles of juice to purchase

Triple Sec : 4 one liter sized bottles or 5 bottles of 750 ml sized
bottles

33.8/.66=51.212121 shots of orange liqueur per your recipe
175/51.212121=3.4171597 bottles of 1 liter orange liqueur to purchase

or

26.16/.66=39.636363 shots of orange liqueur per your recipe
175/39.636363=4.4151376 bottles of 750 ml size bottle of orange liqueur

Blue Curacao : 2 one liter sized bottles or 3 bottles of 750 ml sized
bottles

33.8/.33=102.42424 shots of blue booze per your recipe
175/102.42424=1.7085799 bottles of 1 liter blue booze to purchase

or

26.16/.33=79.272727 shots of blue booze per your recipe
175/79.272727=2.2075688 bottles of 750 ml size blue booze to purchase

Lemon : 4 dozen lemons. Go fresh whenever possible. Have a few on hand
and do a combo of judging/eyeballing. My advice, quarter the lemon and make
four drink squeezes for 4 drinks.

1.5/.33=4.5454545 squeezes of fresh lime juice per lemon per your recipe
175/4.5454545=38.5 lemons to purchase

I hope some of this helps in your calculations as I understand sometimes
over-estimating costs and no one seems to mind a little left over.

Cheers!
