absolutely, if the concept of the bar is about season drinks and again, what
if you live somewhere the seasons are hard to see? But pushing drinks is what
we do, make what you feel like making all night. You know you can sell
anything, and people actually don't fear trying something new if you sell it
good. So why deal with trying to categorize drinks by seasons when we both
know it's improbable, get real. dude, it's been over 100 all week, I know I
could push coffee drinks all night, oh wait, winter drinks. I'll even sell a
blue blazer just for you.
I see what you're trying to say, duh. But seriously, I sell a vodka for $9
that pays for itself in one drink, just because the bottle looks pretty. make
your fourth of july shooters and have people lie to you saying your drinks are
good just because they know your a good bartender. But i'd rather flame a
twist and call it an adam asshole and charge ridiculous amounts.
adam, I know you like making classic cocktails, I do too. and kudos and hats
off to you sir, seriously, if you really do work somewhere were people order
depending upon the time of year. I didn't know these places existed. I just
like to sell what I feel like making all night. I usually use the domino
effect to my advantage and it just so happens the drinks that I suggest are on
the topshelf? this seems like a much more lucrative angle.
